'54 Work Truck

This weekend I used my '54 F-100 to haul a 1143 lb pallet of field paint we use to paint lines on our soccer fields. It was delivered to local business that had a forklift so my son and I had to haul from the business to our fields which are about 5 miles away. No problems at all. My truck had plenty of pep and power and had no problems stopping!

Just goes to show these old trucks can still do it! I did have a piece of carpet on the bed so the forklift operator could slide the pallet onto the middle of the bed.

You couldn't do that with a Jag rear end, could you?! Glad to see it being used as Henry intended!
