1988 f150

I am interested in purchasing a 1988 F150 truck, however, the seller said that after it has sat all winter, northern Utah, it runs really rough. When it was purchased in the fall it ran smooth. Any ideas?

a little more info about the truck would help. engine, miles, what exactly he means by "running rough"

It could just need a tune up and fresh fluids and filters, or it could have some other issues.

X2 on the tune. could be in need of some ignition stuff too, plugs, wires, etc.

we would really have to know more about the problem to narrow it down specifically
