My alternator went taking my 2 batteries with it. after that my abs light was on and speedo went out. I tried unhooking the batteries and changing the rear abs sensor, N.G. So, anyway I finally ended up at the dealership, and they told me they had to reprogram the computer to fix the abs and speedo. But, now it seems like it doesn't have much power. It's an 05 6.0 with 65k on it, I just changed the oil and fuel filters. Last oil change got a dose of Hot Shot, which helped alot. It doesn't seem to get much boost, 20 is tops. So, I'm looking for a good indy deisel shop to get her running like it should be. I usually do my own work but, I think sometimes you got to with the pros. So, if anyone has a good guy in my neck of the woods, I'd love to hear from you. I'm in Suffolk county on Long Island. Thanks Dan

 

The ABS light will come on anytime the batteries are disconnected. You just need to drive it a few feet to get it to clear/reset itself.
