Had to buy a new front panel for the box. The original was so stretched out of shape from things banging into it that the box floor was wedge shaped and could not fit the floor boards into place. Ready to start assembly tomorrow.

Thanks! I am real excited about them. It's too bad that I don't have the fronts yet, but the front ones they sent me were the wrong bore size and they won't have the correct ones for at least another month...

Trex. I have a full size piece of polished aluminum diamond plate that will go on top of that. It should be pretty strong.

Real wood rots under plating. I tried marine plywood under it but even it had problems.

Yeah it's going in my F1. I'll start a build thread once I get it in the shop and torn down. Width is about an inch wider than the stock straight axle, 4 piston calipers, power rack, and 5x4.5 bolt pattern. Any measurements you need let me know

Motor mount mods for 5.0 explorer serpentine?

What do you guys think? I have not seen this done before. I think it will look nice and will be very strong.

Boxed in after removing motor mount steel!

I like this a lot! Can't wait to have it all back together.

To fit this!

Those mount's have been around a long time. A lot with Big blocks sittin on top. I'm using that style also. Makes it easier to offset the engine for steering clearance on the driver's side.
