460 Mass Air conversion, yet again.
I've read through the various 460 Mass Air conversion threads but I can't quite figure out the combo of parts I need to make it work on a stock motor. Most conversions are geared toward engine mods.
I have an 89 f250 460 efi (speed density), C6, 4.10 trac-loc rear, and would like to convert to mass air. I understand that Mass Air would give a bit quicker throttle response ,a little more torque off the light towing a trailer, and slightly beter fuel mileage.
My budget is ~$600 . Any junk yard parts list or combo of new parts and sizes would help. I have light blue topped (24lb?) injectors. Would an 70 mm pro-m MAF ,proper intake piping and specific computer with an overlayharness get this done?
