They all will void your warranty if found out
I bought the hyper tech and it added a lot of power and 3 MPG
But remember what you may give up....

Hey, I am in the same boat! Currently I am logging gas mileage stock. Then adding the Spartan and logging again......then modifying the exhaust. I want to se the real gain I get!!!!

My 2009 F350 Lariat/Crew/PSD/DRW/4:10 is too thirsty....single digit thirsty around town!

lost mpg

I have a Hypertech and lost 1MPG and took it out. I was told, take this out asap it is only going to screw up your motor, so now I am woundering if there is something else out there that really works.

Well let get into the fray. I have the banks, which is a clean tune, with DPF. Spartan without DPF will yeild the best gains.

Just to add my 2 cents, my 08 F 350 6.4 with 4.10's gets about the same MPG's as my previous 02 F 250 V 10 with 3.73's. In my opinion, I bought it to tow my 35' fifth wheel, just have to accept the MPG's. I would not sacrifice my warranty for 1-2 MPG's.

Spartan with DPF delete will get you some more MPGs. That's the route I plan to take. You also get Spartan's DPF-on tunes as well when you buy. Innovative Diesel also seems to be doing good things with the 6.4 as well.

What program did you have it set on?
You are the 1st that I have heard lost MPG
A friend that told me about this program also added 3 MPG and alot of power
So I am curios
Also who told you it would screw your motor up?
And what did they say would get screwed up?

Thanks

I had the programmer set on the 2nd setting.
It will add alot of power. The problem is it dumps alot of fuel in the exhaust, which in the long run will cause the regeneration to clug up and when you bring it to the dealer they will be able to tell that you had a programmer installed even if you take it out. This will void your warranty. I was told don't even waste your time installing any type of programmer.

I am not sure that is correct
I assume a programmer leans it at times

That is why some say it raises Temps and that can be when the problems begin
I have noticed less regens since I added the program
And the tips on the exhaust are much cleaner
There are a bunch on here that really know their stuff maybe they will join in...
By the way again who told you all of this????

Banks told me theres was not consider a programmer there was consider a tuner. It installs much different then a programmer. It plugs into several different ports under the hood as a programmer plugs into the port under the dash and all they do is dump fuel into the system. Banks does not dump fuel, it recalibrates the computer. For more info call Banks i'm not a mechanic, i'm just trying to figure out what I should do
