Looks like a great time and great photos. I really like having that '70 there to show how much Ford has evolved its trucks.

There were three '70's at our Glendale GTG in January, 2009.

That makes my day seeing those three 70's. Gotta love the egg crate grille. I love mine.

The blue one above is a pretty-rare crew-cab.

Prior to my current one, I had an '89, and prior to that I , too, had a '70. A 250 C/S.

I gave it to my kid, who built the 390 and C-6, and did a body-lift, interior, sound system, and stark white paint. He drove it that way all through high school.

Then, he got the idea to lower it and put it on air bags and link suspension. He bought drop-spindle I-beams for it, too. Then, he kinda lost interest and it sat in our driveway for a couple of years after he got married. He finally came and had it flat-bedded to his place, where it has sat in his garage collecting stored stuff in the bed and cab. Uggh...

There was a time I thought about making him an offer, but I sure don't need another "project", and I don't think he would part with it, anyway.

Mexican restaurant in Orange County, I think this was our largest turnout (number of people) up to this point.

3rd pic in post 1...far left, you can see a bit of the blue 2008 Edge Sylvia was leasing at the time. I left my 2008 Fusion at home.

Nope. That was Farmer Boys on Imperial. I think that is Santa Fe Springs, or it might be Norwalk. Imperial and Leffingwell is the intersection.
