The PA Chapter's "Summer Slacking" June 2017 Chat and B/S Thread

Well, since Pat asked where the head slacker was to start this thread over in the May thread...

It's June, already...and it's the start of the summer season. Shows, BBQ's, vacations, and all that good stuff. For those interested, Carlisle Ford Nationals happens Friday thru Sunday this weekend (June 2-4), and I know I will be there at least Saturday in the truck class (Pre-'04 Modified).

Can't think of anything else to say - ya'll know what to do, so do it.

lol, I was so tired last night I went to bed without remembering to start this. Been a long week, so the shaming was appropriate...I suppose lol.

Nah, at least you got it first thing in the morning. I was pretty wasted last night also. For such a short week, seems awful long!

Tell me about it. I'm wrapping up a few little things for Ford Nationals, so it's been fairly hectic. Not a TON to do, but enough to keep me up late lol.

When are you leaving? Is the weather going to cooperate?

The plan is to leave tomorrow night and camp out at a hotel, then hit the grounds Saturday morning early. 50/50 on the weather still. The chance of rain has been reduced, but still a possibility. I don't much care - it's rained on me every year for the past 3...lol. I have a pop-up canopy and there's places to get out of it if it gets nasty.

Be nice if the weather would cooperate, though. I think you're due!

Hi guys. June is here, and the sun is out! That rainy May is a not so distant memory. Let's hope June is a little dryer and warmer.

Morning Steve.

Hey, I'll take it if the weather cooperates, Pat...it's not easy keeping black clean when it's nice out - throw in the rain and it's a nightmare lol.

Yep, know all about that. Just takes a little dust, and some rain, and it suddenly looks like hell.

Yup, doesn't take much to mess stuff up. Fortunately, it doesn't need washed prior to the trip this time - I've had it out on nice days (just odd timing) so some waterless wash and quick detailer will get it ready. Good thing, because my driveway's all ripped up due to this sewage upgrade project...sigh.
