No Limit Straight Axle power steering kit?
I am looking into replacing my steering box and found myself looking at options that are offered. I found the No Limit Straight Axle power steering kit. Here is the link...POWER STEERING STRAIGHT AXLE-No Limit Engineering. Does anyone have experience with this on the 51/52 F-1? The other options that I have considered are the Toyota conversion and the rebuild of the stock steering and taking care of it. Thanks ahead of time for all of the great information. Ciao, Steve

A few folks here have installed the kit. Hopefully they will chime in here but you can look at these threads in the meantime.

Depends on your financial situation and how much unsprung weight you want to carry around. I haven't seen enough experience with the sliding steering shaft deal to decide if it's a long term workable idea or not.
The Toyota conversion is slick and works great with the beam axle. It takes real savy knowlege and investigation to realize it didn't come from the factory that way.

I was just looking at that link for the straight axle power rack, Yikes they are expensive.
Ax has a good point about that sliding steering shaft too. There isn't much feed back yet from others that have this setup to make a informed decision as to whether it will work flawlessly for any amount of time.
The Toyota power steering box seems to be a better deal at the present and not to complicated an installation.
