Does a double din radio fit?

Thanks!
Although I must admit.... I took it out. I didn't use the CB anymore. Even had the mic unplugged and stuck in the glove box. My wife got me a new unit for Chirstmas that has the iPod/iPhone dock built in. Nothing fancy, kind of low end but sounds pretty good with my amp hooked up to it.
I did have a Kenwood CD player in there with Sirius Sat radio. But I didn't even listen to the Sat radio anymore either. So I pulled the whole thing out.
Gave the Kenwood unit with sat reciever and all to the neighbor's kid who was getting his first truck up and running. The Sat radio has a lifetime subscription on it so he was thrilled to get the unit.
I am sending the install kit and CB to "Philip Berardi" from here on the forum. Although he has been waiting patiently for about 2 months, it will be going out today. Its been busy and rough these past few weeks.
But now I jam out to either my radio stations or my iPhone. And if I really want to listen to Sat radio, there's an app for that! I have Sirius on my iPhone too.

Sorry it took so long to get back regarding my install. It is done and looks very professional. Here are some tips on installing a double DIN:
-As others have said, you will need to use a Dremel to modify the opening. It isn't hard, just go slow and take your time so you don't damage anything. I found it easier to do this once I removed the entire dash panel that surrounds the radio and gauges and cut from the inside.
-I installed a Kenwood 6140 using a Metra 95-5818 Double Din Dash Kit. Available at Amazon for under $20.
-It is a tight fit once you get all the wires hooked up (run all of these with the dash off-much easier). The welded support bar that is under the radio is a bit tight to get the radio up and over, so I wrapped it with electrical tape to make is a little more slippery. It takes a bit of negotiation, but knowing it is there and that you have to get the unit on top of the support make it intuitive enough.
-The Kicker Comp 07TCVT102 subwoofer (vertical standing) fit easily behind the seat once I removed the useless plastic factory tool bin. I still have lots of room back there for the empties...er..tools.
-For the back-up camera, I found the reverse lamp wire under the driver's side kick plate. I think it was black with a pink line (search this site for the correct color). Anyway, I tapped into it and used a voltage tester while putting the truck into reverse to make sure i had the correct wire before going any further. 0v in all gears, 12v in R. Bingo!
-I grounded the wire that is suppose to connect to the parking brake wire (this is the mod which allows watching of videos when in gear). For the kids....right...
-Remove the four bolts on the rear seat to install the amp-much easier and very easy to do (also easy for installing the subwoofer). The Polk Audio amp sits under the seat like a charm.
-Because I did a new head unit, 4 new speakers, subwoofer/amp, and rear camera, this took me all Saturday and most of Sunday morning. I went slow and took my time as I wanted it to be professional looking and not half ***.
-Double DIN in 97-03 F-250s is possible and is an awesome upgrade to these trucks!

Sure! Here they are (I hope this works-first time posting pics on FTE):
Dash off:
Head unit installed from the rear (dash still off) with dash kit:
All finished:
Here is where I installed the subwoofer control (the blue light isn’t as bright as the picture makes it):
Subwoofer (note a few inches of room between sub and back of seat):
Note the near perfect color match of the Kicker brand sub and the medium gray carpet:

This is the kit I ended up using for mine and it was easy as hell.... Just like putting the stock SD stereo back in..... just mount the two plates to the side of you HU, trim the upper and lower lips, plug in your harnesses and slide the HU into place and click you're in.... only thing I didn't like is it doesn't have the rear support that bolts to the back of the HU but it seems real good and tight.

hope this helps and it's nice and cheap
