Hey Everyone.. looking for SoCal IDI Tech.. i hava 1986 F250 6.9 idi 4x4 manual trans.. and i just installed new/reman IP and new Injectors.(No gear housing removed!! ect). and set the injection pumps static timing line to the best i could(new ip mark looked like it was ground off seemed like multiple marks at one point) so im looking for a mechanic or shop or even Member here! that knows how and has the tools, to set the timing ect on this .. im in San Diego Ca, area.. any possible leads would be awesome and appreciated!!

Every diesel shop i called said CANT DO!!! Haha stupid!.. ive had this truck for awhile but its not usually a daily driver.. but has ran good .., just didn't have the normal diesel feel and pull.. hardly sounded diesel really. now it does and its definate noisier now.. so it makes me nervous cause its different.. been trying to do slight IP static adjustments.. i have a couple trips coming up.. could use that lil piece of mind .that in not screwing the pooch 😉 Tad

Go with genscripter, there are no shops that will even look at these old Engines.
If they do say they can time it, they probably do it by ear, same as you can, and charge
you big bucks.
