RSK, V Code, and Icon springs

After searching through this section and the towing forum, I haven't found what I'm looking for.

I'm planning on installing my Dana 60 before winter since the auto hubs on my TTB are shot and not worth fixing. While I'm at it, I want to upgrade the ride characteristic since the Dana 60 on stock F-350 springs will ride harsher than the TTB front end (the one redeeming quality about the TTB is its better ride). I'm looking to do an RSK, probably A PMF kit since it looks like the stock bumper brackets can stay, the SuperDuty V code springs since they're the softest, and a set of 5" Icon Deaver springs with the rear axle block removed. If I have my information correct, this will lift the rear about 3" from where the my F-250 is now, and the front should lift about 1.5" from the Dana 60 and another 2" from the RSK. This should leave me with a slight rake of about 1" from front to rear correct?

What is the minimum lift I can add while doing the above swap? How much lift is too much before I have to start worrying about raising my 5th wheel camper? I'd like to keep the truck's overall appearance as close to a stock F350 as I can. I don't have ambitions to run any large tires; probably 285/75r16, so there shouldn't be much height added from the 1-1.5" diameter larger tires than my current setup. I plan to add air bags to supplement any lost weight capacity from the softer springs, so a large about of rear rake is not necessary, but I do want a to keep a slight one for aesthetic/stock-appearance reasons.

Edit: After finding some posts on TheDieselStop.com, it looks like there's little ride quality advantage to the Icon springs unless you're going for a lift as well. In that case, I may stick with my stock springs for a while and swap in Super Duty B code springs and block to level things out and improve the rear ride as well. Are the B codes softer riding than the Icon springs? Do the Icon springs (with no lift blocks) help control axle wrap?

Thoughts?

I know that "Diesel Brad" knows a lot about this subject, I believe he has done what you are wanting to do to at least one of his trucks. Look him up and see if he can help you out.

Thanks, Brad. I had written down in my notes that the PMF was going to a lower lift than the ORU or SKY RSK (Probably originally from your post), but I must have missed it somehow before starting this thread.

So with the PMF, I'll gain around 2.25" via the mounting points of the springs. The Dana 60 itself is another 1.5," so I'll be just short of 4" of lift on the front of my F250.

Are you running level or with a front to back rake? What is the setup at the rear of your truck? Do you tow any 5th wheel/gooseneck trailers?

I have 2 trucks w the PMF RSK. One diesel w V codes and one 460 w U codes.
The 460 truck is running B code rear springs and stock F350(4") block. The truck sits about perfectly level.

The diesel truck is running B codes and a 5" ready lift block. the diesel truck is still tore apart so I cant give an accurate ride height. but it looks like it will have a bit more rake.

I dont have a gooseneck in either truck, but my old 97 I had a ORU rsk w stock springs and 5" block in the rear. I hauled a gooseneck all the tme with ZERO issues and I was running 315/75/16s

Thank, Brad. Sounds like I should aim for a set of Icon 5" lift springs. I want the truck to have a slight rake and I might as well eliminate the blocks if I have the opportunity.
