Attemped kidnapping 2 blocks away
I did not mention this yet, maybe some of you heard it on the local news, There was an attempted kidnapping 2 blocks away from my home yesterday. the 15 yo girl rides the same bus as my 13 yo not so little girl.
Now as a dad i am very worried about this and have started to carry again (if you know what i mean) I sure hope they get some leads so they can catch this A hole! the guy had a pistol but the girl was able to run away. This is to close for comfort for me and i'm on the lookout for a white ford ranger with dark tinted windows. the sherriff's are patroling the neighborhood quite a bit now where as before we hardly seen them. I think i will ask the city for a street lamp on the corner.

I'm not sure who the girl is and they are keeping that out of the news, where i live it is very quiet, end of the road no exit kind of thing no through traffic. a couple of years after we moved here they found a dead body in the road, i think that was a drug deal gone bad, the guy was not from around here. will be careful for sure! looks like i mispelled attempted. it was late.

Good morning Bill, yea there are draw backs sometime to living where it is quiet & secluded. But all you can do is stay on top of things. I have tried to start locking my doors when I drive in town. I'm hearing about people getting in on the passenger side & pulling guns & robbing & so on. In Fallon there is little trouble but you never know. The sheriff's dept is pretty pro-active & a lot like the bulk of police in Arizona, fair but NO BS. With The Navy's Top Gun School here the military helps keep things quiet. I was surprised to find out that the Navy Fire response to all Churchill Co fires in the local area. In fact they sometimes are first on scene if a fire is close to the Base. So I imagine they would roll MPs if needed.
