center hole diameter
Hi. I searched and cannot find the STOCK center hole diameter for a 78 F250 4x4. I found countless posts where people have stated the center is bigger than chevy, and the wheels wont fit. I just want to know the dimension of the wheel's center on a stock pre 97 8 lugger!
If you got it let me know and the next poor sucker can find it in a search.
Thanks!! T

Chevy does NOT fit ford. The center hole on a Chevy will NOT fit over the REAR hub of a Ford Dana 60 rear axle. The Chevy wheels will BARELY wedge themselves over the FRONT hubs of a Ford Dana 60 front axle........but it may take a sledge hammer to knock them back off.
They may have increased the pilot hole on the later model Chevy's. But the earlier ones will NOT fit.
It will fit a Dana 44 front. You sure it fits the rear?

I have a Chevy rim for my spare on my 77 F250 4X4 and it fits fine.
