Do I want to know why you can't take the Ex in the snow? In one week mine (that the ex kept ) went through a major blizzard that started in RI and ended not too long b4 KS and then through the worst monsoon Las Vegas had seen in years. 2 1/2 inches in MD shouldn't be a problem for an Ex (even a 6.0)
