I work at the local Ford dealership, and we just got our first raptor in. It is already sold. It is an awesome truck. My only gripe is that the 5.4 really isn't powerful enough for the 35's. The truck should of only came with the 6.2. The ride is a little rough, but it was to be expected. It also has a very good sounding exhaust. Overall an awesome truck that needs a lot more power!
Here are some pics:
Oh and just because its awesome here is the 2010 Saleen 435s that we just got in. Its still for sale!
Sorry for the cell phone quality, its all I had, and for taking them in the shop, it was pouring down rain yesterday.

NIIIIIICE, but WHITE??? Reminds me of when my local dealer ordered a TAN T-Bird back in the early 80's when the new body style came out.
Yeah I agree, definitly wouldn't of been my choice, I would take the orange or blue flame. Its what the customer wanted.

Yeah the 5.4 really struggles to turn those big ol' 35's. Yeah the saleen is some real eye candy, until you think about the 2011 GT coming with only 20 less hp for 10-15k less!

yeah it looks pretty tame in white but I like that they got it without the kiddie graphics

I used to build houses but then the Goldman Sacks thought it a good idea to securitize a bunch of mortgages written to part time minimum wage earners and resell them as triple A bonds.
If you don't mind what was the sticker/selling price? I've been told the 6.2L will cost $3K more? Is this right? Thanks for the pics. I for one have no problem with a white Raptor.

If I remember correctly, the MSRP was right around $45k.

What, is this based on your one turn around the parking lot? I've got close to 1000 miles on my 5.4, including a couple hundred off road....and I found the complaints about sluggishness absolutely unfounded. It's a truck, not a sports car, and it drives extremely well.
The "underpowered" is a myth. Is it a hot rod? Well, depends on your needs. Man alive, you get a state of the art, fuel injected stroker 331 with a six speed tranny with granny 1st and 4.10 gearing. I waited all my life for this truck! It moves out with authority. My wife's Murano will stomp it, on the road that is!
Most of my truck's life, the wheels are spinning all of the time. I seriously don't need more torque.
No that was based on the probably five to ten miles that i drove it, when i had to go fill her up. And well its not a race car, i feel that since its sn SVT it should be faster than the average f-150.

Get it off the road, it will go faster, much MUCH faster!!!
It's not all about he engine. Hell, I haven't been able to go full throttle for two months now. A bigger engine'd be total waste for me.

It for sure is faster than the average f-150....don't forget it has 4.10 gears.....you don't need more hp to go faster....just gear it different....

Ummm...sorry but no it isn't. The gearing is great, but it also has 35's, that take away almost any advantage that 4.10's provide. IMHO it is not as fast a a regular s/c 4x4 F-150 5.4L.

There's a huge "but" here. How many people do you know that puts larger tires on their truck but don't change the gear ratio? From what I've seen, most. The Raptor moves out just fine. You might find a few guys around who actually own one who aren't satisfied, but most are.
Want to know how satisfied a Raptor owner is, ask one. Don't take an opinion from the benchracers who don't own one.
