Hey Miles, how's wednesday treating you?

 

So far so good. Had our weekly meeting this morning and headed back to work now. Went to pick up my new pistol last night but I hadn't come in yet so maybe tonight. As long as it is here this weekend I will be happy. What are you up to today Pat?

 

Just working and posting. Not too much going on today. I have some stuff to do, but lot's of time to get them done, and the motivation is pretty low today.

 

Same here Pat. We are going to see our new building this afternoon for something to do. It is supposed to open in 9 months. Not holding my breath.

 

Don't think it will open on time? Should be nicer, shouldn't it?

 

Yes very evident by the quantity of posting going on today, me included...LOL

 

I think that the building will open on time, I just think that when people start to move in, they will mind a lot of stuff that they would like to change and that will keep moving im limbo for a few weeks of months while the maintenance crew and the contractors fix everything. There is talk already of repainting some areas because the color isn't right. How do they know it is not right? There is nothing or no one in the building yet.

 

That's because there are some people that are NEVER happy! And, if it wasn't their idea, then it was a terrible idea, even if it is great! We have several of this kind of jackass here at the plant!

On the walk back from the building I was talking to our director about the timeline for construction. He says the building will be finished in August and they will need a few months to complete the punch list so everyone is happy/happier. We are going to be the last ones to move so he thinks about February of next year.
