97 E150 blowing alternators
Replaced a seized alternator on my 97 E150 and it would not charge.
Took it back and had it tested and it failed all three tests (regulator, rectifier and diode). Got a new one ,installed and it is showing the same symptoms.I have traced all the wiring from bat to alt and can find nothing wrong.Where do I look next.

Checking In NM. My quarterly/semi-annual check in. + Update...
Ran into Powerstroker (Chris) at Wal-Mart a few weeks back. Played catch up for a few. He still has the same 3 Fords he had since we both worked together back in the early 2000s.
Recently picked up a 2009 F150 KR. It's a pretty nice rig. Wanted the RAPTOR but, that was twice the price so.... I'll stick with a lifted KR for now. Those of y'all that know me, can now start the betting on how long I'll keep the KR before I end up selling or trading it.

Nice looking truck, there Eddie. Yeah it was nice to see you too. This is my first check in since mid April. Been a few years. No telling how long you'll have it but I'm sure it'll see a few mods first! The only mod I'm working on now is a doubler for the Bronco. I plan to get it sometime in August. Install over the winter hopefully. Since I'll have to fab a shifter and at least one cross member, I might just have to learn to weld!
