Alpine imprint sound software

Bought a bunch of Alpine stuff for my 77. It includes a microphone and software to "tune" the graffic equalizers. Unfortunately it only runs on Windows "XP" and my laptop has the dreaded "Vista".

Anyone found a work around for this problem?

If it won't install, then right click on setup, left click on properties, then compatibility as Winxp. This might work.

Or you can install Microsoft's Virtual PC software (it's free). This will allow you to install Windows XP with in Vista. Virtual PC was developed by Microsoft as a tool to make software backwards compatible for Vista. There are guides online, and it is actually easy to use. But you must install Windows Xp in Virtual PC software.

The last option is to do a dual boot setup. You can install Windows Xp on another partition or disk, and when you start the computer, you choose what operating system to use.
