Trucks and Snow Pics

These are the SSRs. They are an awesome tire depending on what you're looking for. For off road they are awesome, and going down the street they howl, which I also like.
These are by no means well mannered road tires, however. It could be because of the size, 37x12.50x16 leaves a lot of rubber vs wheel. I wouldn't put them on a daily driven truck.
My next tires are going to be Toyo Open Country MTs at 385/70/16. Great reviews, good price and a little more domesticated going down the road.

I dont offroad my truck since i live in New Hersey and theres nowhere to go at all. i do hunt so thats the off road i do in September its in plowed farmer fields for early goose and then after that its some deer hunting and a bunch of upland hunting. Ive ditched all terrain tires after the stock set of tires and ive had Mickey Thompson MTZ's then BFG KM2's now so im use to the mud terrains not lasting long for the little off roading i do. And ill be sticking with a tire around a 285 75R16

You'll have a lot more selection at that size compared to what I need. Even for the small amount of off roading you do it seems that you'll still want a mud terrain if the all terrains aren't quite aggressive enough to not get stuck.
I know a few people who are running the Toyo M/Ts and say they are getting 40k or more out of them but I don't know from experience. They will be my next tire, plus the sidewall is stamped Made in USA.

Also since this is technically a thread about snow I'll say that their snow performance isn't too impressive. Once again size could be an issue, plus mine have seen their better days......
