My fuel guages are only working and I wonder what the causes are. This has been going on for years and i would like to get it fixed. I am very excited to find this forum so i have alot of questions. thank you!

 

it is either poor grounding or the sending units are corroded with lead deposits or wore out like mine are

 

what did you do. where are the poor grounds likely located? If new pumps aren't too expensive and difficult to replace i can pop new ones in myself, but I am not interested in dropping gas tanks as I had to do in a GMC once for a bad fuel pump. thanks!

 

lol well mine isnt a ground they are wore out... the ground issue could be a naked place on the wires or corrosion on the plug on top of the tank. they are expensive.... and i havent fixed mine yet im going to buy all new guages for my truck from EQUUS and get the universal sending units.....
