Grizz, Like many others I checked my dishwasher, its a whirlpool, so no issue with it. I will be sending your link of recall on to all my family and friends. There is no way to know many lives and how much property your misfortune may save. Thank You!
You will be in our thoughts and prayers on Christmas.

Hey Grizz, I wish you the best in your recovery from the fire. My first reaction was to check my dishwasher, as I suppose everyone did that has read about your misfortune. My second reaction was to send your posted recall notice to all my email list in hopes to save them the same misfortune or worse. A HUGE THANKS to you for posting that recall notice. Tim

What a terrible misfortune but at least you're fine, along with your truck and Harley. Thanks for posting this along with the pics and link to the defective washers. Maybe I'll start sending in those cards you get when you buy something so I wouldn't have to stumble on to someone's misfortune to find out about problems like this. So much of what we buy these days is disposable junk so it's surprising disasters like this don't happen more often. Good luck with the girlfriend, although those things can end in flames sometimes too!

Glad you are safe Grizz. I lost a home in a fire 15 years ago and had the same insurance coverage as you mentioned. Some more of the upside for me was,...I was able to layout the kitchen and some floor plan features more to my liking and was able to upgrade some systems ect for better energy efficiency. Losing the memorys and non-replacables is a bummer but a new house helps keep your mind off the down side.

Your are one cool dude. I would have been in shock, rolled up in a ball and bawlin like a baby probably. You not only remained cool enough to take pictures to share, you have presented us with good info. Thanks for that. I recently saw this signature on another site, it applies to you I believe.

Grizz, my family is so heartbroken to hear of your loss. It has been said already about what is important is what you have left. I know I live far away but if there is anything i can ship to you (adult clothes, kid clothes, house items, etc, sorry can't sent a girlfriend) don't hesitate to ask. You have our thoughts and prayers. Keep up the good humor and find a good friend to talk to.
