Help with COP

I have a 2000 F150 4x4 extended cab with a 5.4 automatic with 213,000 miles. I replaced all plugs and coils and boots. Every 300 to 400 miles the check engine light comes on and it starts running rough! It reads P0353, P0355, P0356, P0357, P1000. Now I have taken out all of the coils and checked the resitances, all are with in specs. I am geting the fire threw the wiring harness. There is die grease on the plug and coil ends. So I know I am getting the fire to the plugs, coils are good, and wiring is good. Brand new cam sensor. I am lead to belive that the only things left are Crank sensor and the ECU! Now after read pages of your threads, The ECU don't really have a problem. And the crank sensor, Sometimes the truck will run GREAT! And sometimes the truck feels like it has jumped time. Now if it jumped time, It would alway run like a chevy But it does'nt. So I am stumped!!! Anyone ever had this problem before? Or does anyone have any other suggestions? Thank yall.

You can check the timing relationship with a 2 channel DSO. Put channel 1 on the CKP output and channel 2 on the CMP output. You have to match your waveform to a known good one. You might try iATN for the waveform. What is your vac at idle and 2500RPM? What is your fuel pressure. I'd check all the basics first.

Thank you

The Ford Mechanic said that they do that for $90 an hour with the $79 charge to hook it up. I am new to this fuel injection type S#@T. I am almost ready to put a carbed 5.0 in it and call it a day! Friday I will buy 4 more coil packs and try that. If it doesn't work, there is always the full cover insurance I love my truck to much for that! Can you explain the process to me in a little bit easier terms? I am a simple kind of guy. All I have is a Ohm meter. Thanks.

The codes indicate cylinders 3,5,6,7.
Code 1000 in not a fault code.
I would look at the connector at the PCM for some issue since there are 3 cylinder involveing coil continuity.
The code 1000 will clear once the faults are clear and you do not do any manuel clear of any codes.
Even doing a code clear action on a system with no codes set, will generate a code 1000.
It will clear once the PCM has done it's testing and finds all sytems good.
BTW, testing resistance with a meter is nealy useless and can only indicate an open or a dead short that the PCM will pick anyway and you will have a dead cylinder to boot.
