Right now it's wide open, but I am thinking about a soft roll up cover.
I have plans for my truck and I will likely get one if theirs enough left from my income tax return.

I have had a soft roll top and a hard one. Both were good, but I prefer the hard as it won't puncture as easily.

Mine has to stay open all the time as I do use it for work sometimes I have to load a lawn mower up in my box. sometimes I have to haul tree branches ,yard waste and in the winter time I use it to haul my snow blower around..And when I dont have my lawn mower, branches or yard waste in my box and if I'm fishing and want to move I throw my fishing pole and tackle boxes ijn truck and move..I do keep it cleaned just in case I need it..I have to go out to menards for a customer and haul some mulch and rock will have back of truck full plus my 4x8 trailer will be full as well...mulch will be on trailer rock will be in truck

Mine is wide open. I like the look and like being able to have easy access to the bed.

Originally I voted for a cap. I still have one, but removed it to see if might be a source of magnifying the drone from my exhaust. I have a Truxedo LoPro QT soft tonneau on it now, but will put the cap back on for winter.

It's open with the tail gate on for now. May add a headache rack to mount my lights and antennas. Use the vehicle at traffic accidents and you can't be sure the Lookie Lou's are paying attention!

My bed is rusting through.
I suppose I should get a patch panel for when I decide to remove the job boxes.
