Actually I wanted it just gloss black didn't ask about other finished I figure this thing is going to take a lot of stone hits and I can touch it up with black gloss spray paint if I need to.
What I would love to do is get the whole thing rubber coated with stuff that they put on tool handles!
That sounds like a great idea. Have you thought about maybe doing something like a Line-X or Rhino coating on it? Should hold up really well and minimize impact of stone hits, etc.
Guess I should have thought of that. DUH! I could have had them send it to me unpainted. There is only one place in town that does that here have to see how much they want to do it.
Holy Crap! I knew things were typically higher in Alaska, but geez!
Heck, you could pretty much pay shipping and have it sent down here somewhere, shot with Line-X, and shipped back cheaper than that. If you think that might be an option for you, drop me a PM. I've got a buddy that has a Rhino lining business that'd treat you right and I've got some contacts that have Line-X and I could get it done and ship it back to you.
Looks great!
Where did you get yours?
Where can I get one?
Does Choccolocco Fabrications have a web sit?
What is it?
I'd like to browse a catalog.
Thanks

Look at my earlier post it has the contact info and the email address for the lightbars.
420CREW and HeavyAssault how did you route you light wires? How did you run the wires on your light bar? As in did you go straight back from the light to the bumper and tuck them under. Did you attach them to the back side of the light bar and run them to one end. Did you drill a hole in the light bar and feed the wires through it?
I have not mounted my lights yet as I have been working a lot of hours lately but I was planning on running them along the backside of the tube and then through the grill to the relays 2 to each up fitter switch. Keep us informed and post some pics of the install!
Respose to the hi-jack, I have the KC light bar and a front receiver. No issue, not even close.
Regarding wiring this type of light bar, I went straight back from the light through the grill so all the wiring is protected (plastic loom) and out of the elements.
Last time I checked the front end on my X is a Super Duty. My stock fog lights had to come off, but there is no issue with the light bar and the front receiver.
