Hello, can someone refreash my mind on procedure to set timeing on 223 6cyl motor thanks Mike

 

disconnect the vacuum line between the dist and the carb.Initial timing should be set at 4 degrees BTDC for a 223.After the correct timing is obtained,connect the vacuunm line and check the advance by revving the engine.
