Changing rear axle!

Changing rear axle!
Ok.. this is rather quite simple. I did this completely by my myself and I'm a DIY, not a gearhead. Things to look for: 1) remove the Ebrake FIRST! This will save you MUCH heartache in the long wrong. 2) Check to make sure the new Ebrake is the right size and length BEFORE installing new axle. 3) remove shocks before removing driveshaft. 4) clamp the main brake line so you don't have to bleed the entire system. 5) Jack up the truck high enough to give the springs room to expand. 6) While you're under there, might as well replace the Ujoints. 7) I had to use a ratchet strap to get the axle lined up properly as you'll see in some pics. I started at noon, and with no help, and lunch and dinner, had the new one in and bolted up by 8. I could easily do it in 6 now that I know what I'm doing! It's a basic bolt off, bolt on kinda thing. It's best if you have the axle centered on a jack and then use the jack to roll these heavy things around. I'm going to try to post a bunch of pics so HOPEFULLY, they'll all get in here. Enjoy guys!
Removing the old
Clamping the brake lines
It's actually out, it's just sticking to the springs which is why you need to have the frame up ridiculously high.
Look mom.. no wheels!
This is why you remove the Ebrake FIRST... so you don't have to remove the srping to get it out of your way.
Old axle is out!
New one in
Driveshaft hooked up and TRYING to align that left side
So I got some extra muscle

Hope this helps guys! It was fun and I learned a lot
