....to be the first OK FTE member to get the flu this season? Ugh. Yep, diagnosed from the doctor and hospital yesterday. I've got the regular flu and bronchitis. They had me worried for awhile. They were scared it was H1N1 so they had me put on a surgical mask as well as the nurses and doctors. It hit me fast and took me down hard. All day Friday and most of today I didn't want to move as it made me nausious, my body ached and was stiff, my eyeballs even hurt, high fever.
They gave me some good anibiotics that seem to be workin for the bronchitis symptoms. The only remedy for the flu is fluids and rest. I think I finally broke my fever early this afternoon.
I was only two weeks from getting my flu shot. Oh well. Luck of the draw i guess. You all be safe, wash yer hands, and if you've got coughing coworkers stay the heck away from them.
ugh...spoke too soon. Fever is back today. Feel like poop again. This really stinks. I hate being a blob on the couch. I'm one of those people that have to be doing something. I can only lay on the couch and rest for so long.
All I can say is you'd better stay on your side of Garnett

Thanks for the well wishes and concern ya'll. I'm almost back to normal. I would say about 95% at the moment. Still taking the antibiotics and steering clear of anyone that is coughing or even looks sick. Stay safe all!!!!
