Too bad if a CAT won't fit. It would go well with the theme of saving LIONS, right?

I think a C7 would fit. I know a 3208 would fit, but I don't think that would be considered a good thing LOL!

Here's my votes:
Ford 6.6, Cummins 6BT, DT360(IH), Cat 3304 or 3208, Perkins 6.354, Detroit 4-71T or 6V53T

I dont remember exact numbers for the 6V, but I think it's up to 350hp in military trim, which would land the tq around 750. The 3304 was in the 250hp range last I remember. Of course, ratings are relative figures until the fuel rate gets adjusted.

What about a DT466, I hear they can make some real good power, or the Cat 7.2 (sorry I don't remember Cats number for it).

if you look closely enough, you'll see an empty engine compartment, oh, and i dont have a frame yet either. i think an f350SD frame, then the Cat 7.2 ish or Detroit 6v53t, depending on what i can get a deal on

C7 Cat is a 3126 which is 7.2 and hp wise anywhere from 180-330
The 3116 is a 6.6ltr
i would go with a 3306 at around 300 hp......i cant remember the displacement, but it was around 10ltrs give or take a ltr. 950-1350ftlbs...runs good.
or a dt530-570. but they are harder an more expensive to find then a Dt466.

a cummins wouldnt have enough power to make it fun.....atleast the 5.9 b series. now the C series 8.3 ltr pulls very good for a medium duty.

run an 8.3 or a 3306 from a garbage truck with a 5spd ally behind it.....that would make a sweet rig

Get a dt466 and i can help you get some killer power figures. I didn't mention the 466, because I didnt think it would be fitting in there too easily. The cat 3126 dont have the best reputation either. I know where you can get a Ford 6.6 for $500 and it may even run.
