Other than being cold it was a blast, a few exhibits were closed for renos and they were putting in a couple new things, so didn't get to see everthing, but we plan to go back next summer.

The Vancouver Zoo is pretty good too. It's somewhere around Langley/Fort Langley. We were there last year. A long time ago you could actually drive through the whole zoo.

Its off the Aldergrove, 264th street freeway exit. My parents live near there.

So how's everyone tonite?

I have started my hunt... winter tires for the Ranger!! and the car. The warden needs new tires too. We did the costco thing this evening. They seem to be a bit more expensive than everyone else. But I also get a discount most places. What does everyone else like to run for winters???

Im going to give my Km2's a shot in the snow. I don't expect many good things, but time will tell. We don't usually get much snow down in the lower mainland, but Ill be up in the mountains snowboarding probably every weekend. So that will be the true test.

Pete you KM2's will go good in hard packed or fresh snow. Its the ice where you'll have issues. I have done the mud tire in snow thing. For the most part it works out really well. One thing for everyone to keep in mind is the new rules that ICBC has with winter tires. I am not sure what they are myself but I have heard a lot of rumors that if you are in the lower mainland you have to have winter tires. If you don't and you get in an spot of trouble it is supposed to negate your insurance. How much of that is actually true I'm not really sure. Its is food for thought though.
