1994 f150 xl supercab, 5.0, automatic od tranny and 3.55 gears towing upgrades?

I am about to embark on some towing upgrades for my boat hauler, she does very well but i want to keep it that way! im towing a 3200 lb 17 foot trihull with a 350 lb 125 horse evinrude outboard, probably 40 to 60 gallons of fuel, camping equipment, generator, 200lbs of tools (i DID mention the boat motor is an evinrude right? lol need NEED lots of tools AND oars) the truck has a 11500 gcwr rating and it has seems to deal with our hills like a champ bt at almost 200 grand on the odometer i want to keep her happy!

this is what im thinking

high performance msd coil, wires, cap and rotor (they need replaced might as well go hotter)
(just did new motorcraft plugs, oil, coolant with water wetter, trans filter and fluid)
a tranny cooler
oil cooler
high amp alternator and an electric cooling fan for the tranny
tranny temp gauge
a real mechnical oil pressure gauge

anything else?

I wouldn't waste my money on the coil unless you had a good msd box and or distributor to go with the whole package. If you wanna keep her happy first thing i would do is get rid of the 3.55s and put in 4.10s.My 97 has 4.10s and not sure off hand but i think at 70 it is cranking about 2400 that would be a worthwhile investment.

I'll second the 4.10 gears statement. With the OD transmission, you can afford a high ratio. I also wouldn't bother with a fan for the transmission. Put a large transmission cooler infront of the radiator and the air moving will do the job for you. I installed a set of underdrive pulleys to help my towing situation. I figure that if the engine is turning faster due to the new gears then the power steering, water pump, and alternator can turn a small percentage slower than the crank and free up more power.

The aftermarker gauge install is just a good idea wether you are towing or not. I have voltage, tranny temp, engine temp, oil pressure, vacuum. Its a good idea to know what's going on under your hood before you blow a gasket :-)
