Growl from serp belt

I have a growl coming from the serp belt around the area of the AC compressor or the idler pullies on the tensioner. We loosened the tensioner and spun all of the pullies and they seemed OK. Put the belt back on and it still growls.

It's an early '99 that we just bought this summer with 95k miles. Hard to say what's been done recently to the truck. Would the idler pullies be a good place to start? Does Ford sell a new complete pulley or just the bearing?

Thanks!

Loosen belt and grab all the pullys and wiggle back and fourth. just spinning may not reveal a sound. B sure to check water pump for play also. I did mine not to long ago, wasnt leaking...bearing went out tho.
I just did a tensioner pully on and exploder, the tensioner came as a unit. 50 bucks from the parts store.
