So I just spent about four hours trying to remove the lines from the radiator and I have had enough for the night! Due to the rust and the awesome design for releasing these fittings they will not come free. I am using the "special tool" to release them but it is very cheap and I actually bent the tool accidentally by hand. If anyone has any tips for getting these off let me know. The lines did come off of the filter easy enough because they weren't rusty up that high.

Or, do the fittings that go into the radiator come out and can they be changed? I am to the point of just cutting the lines and changing the fittings if it will be easier!
