I am sure in due time. People are putting LSx series engine in everything. This will be next.
Not so sure about that. The reason people put LSx engines in everything is because every single current GM V8 (except the North Star) is based on them. Many parts interchange between the various engines as well. All LSx engines have the same head bolt pattern so you could get a $300 LS truck engine from a junkyard, slap a set of second hand LS6 heads on it and have your self a potent motor for dirt cheap, add to the fact that it only has a single cam to swap out, it makes the LS series an ideal motor for swaps.
I'm in no way knocking the 5.0, but I think the initial cost of the engine, and the cost of getting more power out of it (4 cams, etc..) means that it realistically won't become popular in the engine swap crowd.
