2010 G2G ideas.
I admit that I did not leave a lot of time for planning for next months G2G. Lets start the planning for next years G2G right now. I would like to have at least two G2G's next year One in the Fallon area and one in Vegas. Preferably centered around an event. Anyone with ideas please share.
I will be pming members to let others know once I get more than just an hour a day on the net.

I thought you guys were meeting in Vegas for NASCAR practice in Jan? That was the last I heard.
As for a Summer Fallon has a lot going on. How about a VORRA Race. Michelle can tune us in on the dates & whatever I'm sure. I know Memorial Day in Yerington 60 miles from Fallon. But they have a race in summer out of Fallon at Salt Wells I think. I will have to pass on a Vegas run in winter. We are moving back to Lovelock in March. But anything in the summer in Fallon, Yerington, or Reno area I'm in for.

There is a fair sized car show @ Oats Park in conjunction with the Fest. It rained this year but there were still a bunch of cars. Also the last weekend in May or first week end in June not sure this year but can find out. Lovelock has a Car Show (Street Fever) that has been going on for years. It draws cars from Sacramento, Reno/Carson Area also. It is held at the Court House Park in downtown Lovelock. A great time in a small town. There are motel rooms but they fill up for this event.

Wow, it looks like we will miss Nevada's G2G. We are moving south at the end of May. We will base either in Pahrump or Kingman AZ until we see where Vici will be working next school year. I can't wait to get out of Fallon's weather. I will miss somethings. It is hard to find mechanic's like Lester & Scott @ Lesters Automotive on Nevada St in Fallon. Thanks Michelle for the heads up on them. I have told Les that you & Larry recommended him to me.
Fallon has little crime, but a lot of no drivers, that need to pay attention when driving. Nevada needs a LAW AGAINST CELL PHONE use while driving. I hate more laws but one is needed here in Fallon.
Vici right now is looking at Las Vegas & Casa Grande AZ, they are also very interested in her. I will miss getting to visit weekly with my only real friend lifelong from Hawthorne. But I can't do Northern Nevada winters anymore. I lived in Hawthorne most of my life & the weather there is so much different than any other place up this way. Even when we had rough winters it was & is nothing like the rest of Northern part of the State. In fact for the last several years RVer stay in Hawthorne for the winter because it is so mild compared to any farther north, yet they still get four seasons.
