I am guessing everyone just brings differant food and drinks?

 

Yeah. The host usually asks for people to bring certain things and we pitch in a little for the rest. On the ones away we usually bring something we want and get Dave to cook it for us.

Well guys yall give me a date and what time, i'll try to make it if its not to far. My mud truck will be running by then, the reason it's broke is, well lets just say it took a big poop and the timing chain threw. Should be finishing it up today when I get outta school! Well, the pavilions at the camp area close on Nov 1st.

I've got a lead on renting the CCC Barracks, its reasonable and has a kitchen...
Right now its available Nov 7th...

If we can nail something down, I'll drive up and take some pictures this weekend.

Well it would appear that due to some construction in the area the CCC Barracks won't be available after all.

Joe don't they just have picnic tables setup somewhere ?

 

Well I drove up to petit jean today and had a look around for a good spot for the GTG.

There is this big nice picnic table over by the lake, bathrooms and a playground nearby..



Only 1 slight problem I think we overlooked, it was 56 degrees up there today and it was frickin cold!

 

i don't do outside in november

 

Perhaps Petit Jean would be better suited to our spring meet..

Any other ideas?

 

It's getting closer, we need to nail down a date.

November 7th, 14th or 21st ?

With any luck it will still be in the mid 60's or above that weekend.

If y'all think its going to be to cold I could check on the Senior Center in Vilonia mom-in-law says she gets use of the center free once a year. Whad ya think ??? I'm thinking Chile Cook Off ......

 

The 14th would be best for me.

 

I will be working the weekend of the 7th. So other than that I am up for whatever works!
