Hey Scott. That was painful to watch. Man, talk about a heartbreak. I was really hoping the 'Pokes were going to extend Colorado's losing streak, that would have been great!
I just dont get the pokes sometimes. They lose to a team that almost to a team that they beat pretty handily. Is that clear as mud?? They should have easily beat the Buffs and those stupid horn helmets.
Just got back from Casper. 162 vets flew out at about 11 am today for the WWII memorial in DC.
Pat, your new project helper truck looks to be pretty solid.
Good Morning Miles, Scott, and the rest of the Wyoming gang! Miles, the cab is in great shape. The rest of it is pretty beat, might be able to save one front fender, and cut off some of the bed sides to fix my bed.
Well morning is gone already so good afternoon Wyoming. Had a meeting at 7, a physical at 8 that turned into a full on medical evaluation, a retirement at 11:30 and another meeting at 1.
Yeah, that would kind of suck! The outages here used to last 90-120 days back in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. I can't imagine working 6-7 days a week for that long.
When I was growing up, the outages at the plant like yours and the one in Wheatland were a big boom for the city. Lots of employees making overtime and lots of boilermakers and electricians and the like spending money in the town. However, 6-7 weeks of that much overtime would start to get real old.
We had a 90 day outage a few years ago, when we cut a hole in the containment building, and replace some major components so we could run another 30 years. That was pretty grueling! Made a ton of money, though!
