c6 trans question and oilpressure question

HI ! My ford f100 have a 351w and c6 tranny then i start to drive the car the trans works great but after i drive around the trans have problems to chift to the third gear,any tip? another question are the oil pressure. i have a oil gauge mount in the car what are the normal oil pressure the gauge stands on 50 then oil is cold and under 20 then hot( idling motor) Hope you understand im from sweden Thanks simson

The oil pressure drop is quite normal. The transmission is another story. Can't help with that...

Do you have a transmission fluid cooler? You need one withthe C6 It should look like a small radiator and be hanging in front of your radiator?

And yes the indicated pressure drop is normal. Cold it should be at about 50 at idel and running, hot (195 degrees F) it will idle at about 20 and drive at about 30-35.

And don't worry, we understand you just fine. We are used to reading notes from people from Texas, West Virginia and Boston. And your english is better than theirs!

Your 56 F100 C-6/351W is like mine. Make sure you are getting a good vacuum signal from the intake manifold to the transmission.
