Cool Need Help in North Texas!!!!!

I have a 2001 F-150 4.2l i took to a local garage to have some head gaskets replaced. I was told that my heads were warped and they needed to be replaced. I had the garage replace the heads w/ new?heads, gaskets and such. I had them replace the water pump cuz I figured it would go as soon as I got it back. The place charged me for 1 set head gaskets=$300+,2 heads=$297.50, 1 set head bolts $26, intake manifold gskt set $12. They then told me they had to replace my plugs=$4.98each and thermostat $12.90. picked up my truck and drove it...just about 1000miles and less than a month after i had it fixed, I threw 2 rods through the oil pan on the hwy, had it towed back and was it was not anything they did but they would fix it for another $2400, when i questioned what had happened i was told off and to go ahead a sue him(which I never brought up). I now need EXPERT witnesses PLEASE ANY HELP would be appreciated. I know I was done wrong and I am now fighting for the little guy!
Thanks

There is no way in hell that he put two new heads on your truck for only $650 or there about. I'm not an expert Ford mechanic I was a Nissan Tech.

agree with shore bird my job recently was $1100 to take a good head off just to drill out the spark plug hole on a 5.4.

cheap, fast, good, choose two when getting service.

you definitely got shafted there.

were there any symptoms leading up to this horrific moment?

i forgot to say they charged labor of coarse an the toltal of this first repair was $2300 or so, also when they towed it bac "they told me it was not their fault" i did not mean to sound like i thought it was nothing they had done. in paid a local ford dealer to break it down to the cause, they said it lookedlike coolant leaking into #3 &#6 cyl also when they turn the engin upsidedown i noticed the same oil filter on the engine that i put on before the first repairs. sent oil to CAT labs and they found coolant in the oiland the coolant was way over concentated.

I was going to mention earlier that you probably got some coolant in your oil coolant into your oil, either that or some other foreign fluid.

Sounds like you definetly have a lawsuit if you want to persue it.
Anytime you tear into an engine - you change the oil and filter.
And they are definetly resposible for the head gasket leak after only 1000 miles.

This of course assumes you did not tell them to skip any steps or do it as cheap as they possibly could.
