Electrical question

In the past week or so when I go to start my truck the guages peg themselves momentarily and then rest back at zero before I crank the engine. I hear a clicking noise coming from the interior fuse box for a few seconds after I turn the truck off too. And when these instances occur I have to reset all of my radio presets again because they were erased. Is it a relay? Circuit breaker? This is one of three problems I'm having with this truck and I'm about ready to go crazy.

It's a 2002 F150 with a 4.6L

when the battery dies or is disconnected the first time you start it after that the needles will peg themselves then go back to zero.

Well my truck does it everyday. There is a distinct clicking coming from the fuse box....maybe one of the circuit breakers but not sure.

I've narrowed the clicking down to the Interior Lamp Relay and the Battery Saver Relay located next to each other in the interior fuse panel. When I tried to remove them only the plastic cover came off and the relay was still connected. I was afraid to damage them so I didn't take them out.

May sound too easy but I would check the connections at the battery and the starter. Might look like it is on be be loose

A few days ago I went out to start the truck and it was dead. I took the battery to Autozone to have it tested and it was good but the guy decided to exchange it anyway since it was fairly new (1year a 3 months). No problems with the relays clicking since I installed the new battery.
