Somewhere I heard that even the EP-45 isn't too cheap itself. Johnny actually signed 'em both for me at his old Store/Museum he had in Hendersonville, TN. His tour bus was parked outside...big black L-O-N-G bus. He was getting ready to go on tour with the Highwaymen Tour.

There's a metal plate with the Model/Ser # behind the tone arm. If I remember correctly, you gotta take the S/N to a web site some guy started and you can get the approx manuf date from that. Model VV-Xa - S/N 377369. On the back, there is a patent date, but that isn't a manuf date. Patent date was 1902. So manuf was some time AFTER that. Found it..... 1918 S/N's from: 357000-414000. Sold for $75.00

we'll just have to do a little footwork, then. It's a beautiful piece, though. Would go perfectly in my office... hint, hint.
