351M to 351W

I am collecting parts for a project truck (HP60/14B full width ranger). I located a donor drive train including a 351M engine and NP435 tranny. I would like to use a 351W. I have seen many posts mentioning that "stock" NP435 bolts directly to a 351W. I also read that the big blocks 429/460 will drop in my (donor rustbucket78 f 250) truck in place of the stock 351M. Any clarification would be a big help, . PS I am not concerned about motor/frame or any linkage/wirening issues, only bell housing, clutch etc. (prefer hydro clutch if there is an available bell housing and O.E. solution)

Thanks!

You can use a bell housing off the same year (most likely others) with a 435 and a 302 or 351W. The engine towers work but again go to the parts store and buy motor mount for a F150 with a 302. There were no hydraulic clutches until the 80s. I think you can use T18 bells as well but not positive, 2x4 and 4x4 are the same. This is the same swap I did when I put a 351C in my 79. Use the flywheel and clutch for what ever bell housing you use, and the bell crank pivot off my old motor worked with the small block.
