It's a 3spd manual that has been put on the hump by the PO. I am actually logging on today looking for info about putting it back on the column. I would like to put in bucket seats and a console at some point and that will be much easier than having it in the floor. Plus you don't see them on the "tree" much any more.
If you wish to convert back to the column shift, you may want to have an extra shift collar (and the tools to change it out) with you. My 1968 Galaxie left some friends and me stranded in the Black Hills with little choice but to pay the local Ford Guys the big bucks to replace mine back in the early 1970s.
That's a good job on that air cleaner, it's looks factory. I've got a single snorkle out in the shed same color as that. I got it in a junkyard off of another truck. But that looks really good.
A little late on the question, but do you still have the single snorkel air cleaner? hahah
