Change Shift Points After Lift

Hey There, I bought a new 08 F350 about a month ago and it goes in for a 6" fabtech lift w/35's on Sat. My question is do I need to program my tranny's shift points? A friend of mine who I got the tires/wheels from is a distributer and he said to make sure I reprogram my truck... I havent heard of this on the SD's. I had an 03 with a 4" lift and didnt do anything like that. Any info would be helpful..
thanks

The PCM should be re-programmed for the larger tires (if you can even do that now on the 08s). In the past a Tru-Speed could be used to correct for tire size. Some tuners can do it as well.

You can do that with a SCTX3 tuner. Get it from Mike at www.5startuning.com.

the dealer can tune the PCM for tires up to 35"s... least they did on my 03..

ur 08 may allow for larger tires, since they come with bigger tires stock now then in 2003..
