looking to buy a 2v v10 for a 99 superduty
Hope im posting in the correct area, I'm looking to buy a 2v v10 for a 99 superduty.
Mine has bad oil sludge and the passengers side lifters are a little dry. I tried flush ing and everything else... NO luck. My engine has 239K and been rode hard and put away wet.
Just looking for another V10 that will fit.
Thanks and god bless,
PM ME IF YOU GOT ONE OR KNOW OF ONE.

Just so you know, you can't receive PMs until you get to a 25 post count.
So, anyone that wants to contact you can post here, with an email address, and you can contact them directly. NO PRICES in this thread. Keep that private.
ALSO - you are going to be looking for a '97-99 2-valve V10 without the PI heads from either E or F-series trucks. (PI is cast into the rearward side of the head). PI heads were introduced for the 2000 model year.
There has been at least one or two people that posted in the V10 forum that either swapped a later motor into a '99, or at least used the heads from 2000-2004 and noticed an increase in power without any other problems or concerns.
So, you might also want to look into getting a 2000-up 2-valve (plastic valve covers).
The 2-valve was installed into Excursions in 2005, and E-series vans to this day.
