Request For Cabover section.......
Hi,
I would like to request that a cabover section be created on the forum.
Perhaps: Beginning to 1957 as these models are the older bubble/helmet type. and a section for 1958 to present.
At any rate, it would be great to have a place to discuss specifics to the cabovers as the info on them is scatted throughout the forum and the internet. I am sure there are quite a few cabover enthusiasts out there that would also appreciate this.
Thanks,
Erich

It would be nice to have an older classic antique truck section for all the heavy duty, big job, F500+, H Series, and COE trucks etc. It doesn't help very much when you're looking for help with 1961-66 F600 in a section where many if not all of the posts are for F100's. It's hard to compare an F100 with and F900. Or a 1948-50 Cabover in a section where most of the posts are for the F1.
It really would be nice to have a section for the Heavy Duty Classics.
Thanks again,
Erich

Yep, that's true, I love this forum. A lot of knowledge and many people willing to help.
Maybe if the Super/ heavy duty section included the older heavy duty's like the F500-900's, C500-900's it would be helpful. I saw a great picture of a 1960 F9000 in a ford truck book, It would be nice to know who owns it. That is an impressive piece of machinery indeed! I just love classic heavy duty trucks. Work horses built to last still doing their job. My 66 F600 could pull a house down! That eaton 2-speed rear end with the NP435 4-speed with granny gear really lays it down......in power, not rubber of course.
Thanks again and Happy 4th of July everyone!

Cabovers at Pigeon Forge
Not that I am trying to keep this thread alive but thought this would be a good place to put these...
Here are the cabovers that were at Pigeon Forge last weekend (Friday anyway). I have been to a lot of car events and I have never seen this many really nice cabovers at one event.
The first and second cabovers pictured are owned by FTE members 48fordcoe and scottm1.
I didn't get to talk with the owners of these two cabovers... any body know who they are?
This last cabover was only there for a couple minutes. Must have realized he was at the wrong event. lol
