King of the Hammers!

I just watched some coverage of KoH. And I was wondering if any of you guys have spectated, competed in, or just watched it in general?
I think that it is the most badass off-road race that i'll never be able to compete in. The vehicles going in are amazing, and to finish it, at all, looks to be a little bit of a challenge.

My buddy and I were joking around entering his K5 in it. But it probably wouldn't make it..... at all.... haha.
Juuuust let me know.

yeah SteveBricks and I went this year. if you dont have a purpouse built rig you will NOT make it. most of the trials there if you run 2 of them it is a full day and they are running all of them in a few hours. the problem with going is you really need to go with someone who knows where to go, there are almost no signs of where to go and what not so.....

Haha yeah I saw some pretty damn nice rigs there.

I was thinking about it, do they have like giant TV's or something? How do you spectate that race? Or do you just watch one area as they drive by? Lol.

Since it's non stop crawling, there's no time to take a deep breath and relax. Edge of the seat the entire time and you had to make sure you were setting up for the next move while you were crawling the rocks. The gate keeper was gut wrenching. You have to hit it just right to get up the ledge but still make it through. Loved it.

Sounds awesome. Not much of a rock crawling fan, but those rigs are something else.
