Grease Gun

I just changed my oil for myself, first time, (bout time i know). had a hard time getting the filter on. dropped my flashlight towards the front and had to get a 1nch tube to poke it out. what should of been 15 was 30. anyway, i was looking at my hanyes manuel and see points where i gotta grease. is the technique just squirt till fresh grease comes out? and are there other areas i should do.. thanks,, wally

if you haven't had moog parts installed on your truck I believe the front of you your truck has only one or two grease fittings. I don't remember exactly but I think they are both on the idler arm.

What I do is just pump the gun till grease comes out, not necessarily fresh just something coming out of the boot.

If you have factory parts on your truck you will only have 2 grease fittings, which are both on the idler arm. As for grease, you dont necessarily need to keep pumping till clean grease comes out unless it has been contaminated with water.
