Don't kow anything about the AFE.
I just installed the NAPA 6637 Filter and ran it behind the battery. I like it a lot. And it doesn't cost much. Run a search on this site and you'll get all the info you need. A lot of folks here have went with the same setup.

I'd go with the tymar intake...cheap effective solution...just how I see it.

No idea man. everyone uses 6637 here.
I think there are a few variations.
Just the 6637 is such a good filter, why do something different?
I gotta pick mine up in the morning.

Hey Talyn get that stuff back out of there, theres a lot of people who dont know anybetter and will pay big $ for that trash on ebay. For real. Thne you can use the profit from it to help offset that costs of your new stuff.

I have the AFE, love it. There is a write up on here somewhere, the AFE gets very good ratings. However, it's not cheap, whereas the 6637 is pretty affordable.

X2 with Oversize, there was a thread here a while back about the stock filter box going for about $70 on ebay. If someone is willing to pay that much for it why not sell for some extra cash?

AFE builds a good product and the pro-guard 7 is a very good filter, but the retail prices are crazy high.

If you decide to go that route, let me know- I've got a new (still in the box) AFE Stage II cold air intake with the pro guard 7 filter that I probably
will not be using.

Welcome to FTE!! I like the looks of the S&B product. The AFE is nice also. The Tymar or 6637 option is great too.

Thanks for the input. i will be deciding soon, the 6637 sounds great but i like the washable AFE.

I have been lurking in the shadows for a few months, reading and learning. What a great site, only bad is that i did not find it sooner, and the case of PMS that has developed. i think my wife may be jealous. Got to go ----- coming honey

You can't wash it. It is a paper filter.

I know that neal!

It has so much surface area, it will last longer then smaller filters.

55 for mine at napa here in Tenn.
I'd buy more if i had the money.

I coudln't find the proper pipe, so I had to half *** it in there.

Gal darn webshots. i was hoping it would work for direct img code, but they changed the pictures into flash so you can't do that.

I had to use a makeshift 45 for my 6637. =*(
