Good morning AL. and glruff :P
Didn't chime in much yesterday didn't have a good one. My morning started off by a new neighbor backing out into my wife's car at 2am. Smelt the alcohol off his breathe. I tried to be nice and settle without the police, but after he sobered up at 8am he tried to cop out of 100% liability saying my parked car was in his way. WOW. Possibly saved him from going to jail that night and he wants me to pay for partial. We got the cops involved so hopefully in some bizarro world I'm not found negligent. I got roofers working on the house so the car was parked in the street. Tough day yesterday.
Just in time for my B-day Today! LOL

Sorry to hear that, Pete. When my wife had an accident a number of years back and I met with our insurance adjuster, he gave me a great piece of advice which has already served me well.
PART 1... Buy a disposal, waterproof camera with a flash for EVERY single vehicle you own. Give yourself a Christmas present and REPLACE it every year even if you haven't used it, and you'll always have one that will work and serve you well.
PART 2... For EVERY accident you are in, take pictures, lots of pictures... pics of the damage or lack thereof, pics of the people walking around, pics of everything that could be an accurate record of the weather conditions, road conditions, vehcile conditions, PEOPLE conditions, time of day, day of week (like a picture of a newspaper held up against the car), etc.
If you have to face a judge or jury, pics are hard to argue against.

The one time I needed them and had them available, all it took was mentioning that I had them to the other guy's insurance company and then telling them also that HE was the one who got the ticket.... never heard anything else from them again (I had no damage to my truck, but ripped the bumper completely off their vehicle with my rear tire which was wider than the body flares).

Happy Birthday Pete (pdogg6) Sorry to hear about the struggles of this morning.
George, the wife is making it with help. They have some home care person come in and help her. My daughter is overseeing some of the details since I have to work. There was a physical therapist in today and a technician. So I guess things are getting looked at. Will see how things go down the road. Thanks for asking about her.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes Steve. Didn't do too much last night. Wife has had a headache she's been fighting with since Tuesday, but she mustard the strength to take me out for a steak. She went to the doc in the box yesterday for a shot and medicine, but that didn't help. She'll be going to the family practice tomorrow for a CT(sp?) xray.
Hope your wife gets better. Still keeping your wife and family in my thoughts and prayers.
Found a way to get the photos off my phone and verified they do have time and day stamps for the accident. So I think I'm good to go. But just like I said I hope in some bizarro justice world I'm not found liable for the way I parked in the street.
